Sweet, pleasantly herbal and with just the right bite, our Juniper Berry Balsamic is a seasonal flavor which beckons in the holidays with the distinctive flavor of juniper berries. This sweet, aromatic balsamic has an affinity for woodsy rosemary; caremelize onions in Devo Aged Juniper Balsamic with chopped fresh rosemary and bake into a tart or quiche with tangy gorgonzola cheese and serve with a dark green salad dressed in a citrus vinaigrette.
Notes: Try this balsamic with gin in cocktails, paired with wild game and as a glaze for duck.
*Pairs nicely with Devo Whole Fruit Fused Blood Orange and Eureka Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oils.*

My mother always brings me juniper berries. It's a staple in Scandinavian cooking, esp gravies. I don't need them anymore. I've got something better...I've actually paired it with the Blood Orange EVOO as described and used it on an endive/red cabbage salad. I used it in a short rib stew this past Sunday and it was amazing. A cocktail concoction is next...
